We work with bubs in mind

Clarity paves the way to connection, confidence and courage

Seeking emotional support during pregnancy is one small step you can take toward reclaiming your inner voice

We’re not given the rules for how to ride the rollercoaster of life, so for starters, it’s important we take a deep breath and ease up on ourselves.

There’s not one family who experiences early childhood without disappointment, challenge, and change. The idea that it's completely joyful all the time is a really hard thing to maintain—and it’s what exhausts everyone.

Most of us want vulnerability and uncertainty to be wiped. We prefer it to not be around because it's hard to manage. It's really common for people to come to us with the idea that eliminating things that stir up feelings of vulnerability or that present risk in their lives is the answer.

Growing Parents empowers you with the tools to develop ways to navigate the dips, flips and turns that come with the uncertainty of parenthood. It’s life’s biggest lesson—one that’s hardest to hold—and we’re the specialists who can carry you through that journey.

We offer mental health support services for infants too

Babies are always welcome in our sessions. We work with babies and children in mind—always. This supports building strong relationships as well as better mental health outcomes long term.

As an emerging field in parenting support services, infant mental health explores ‘attachment’ styles between baby and mum and their closest caregiver.

With mum and bub together in a gentle, safe setting, we can help to identify where you’re interacting beautifully and where you both might need a little encouragement.

And, be open to flourishing, because we’ve seen this happen many a time!

We are passionate about real social change

With a long history, education and love for human rights, we’re active and vocal in the community around advocacy for real change for parents and children.

We’re a voice for those who feel marginalised or isolated and want the relationship between GPs and parent support services to strengthen, so the referral process becomes a natural and integral part of perinatal care.

Diminished mental health is biggest issue pregnant people face by far. It's the time in a woman's life when she's most likely to be diagnosed with a Mental health problem, with suicide being the leading cause of death in mothers.

Early intervention through well-resourced professionals has proven to be successful for so many families, with the uptake on pregnancy and parental support continuing to grow.

We’re at the forefront of new developments which enable us to provide a more comprehensive service

Our knowledge and understanding of how systems work across the country enables us to guide and advise you with greater advantage. We’re well-informed, keenly interested and are across all policies relevant to perinatal care.

The range of services we offer considers the contrasting and unique situations each family finds themselves in. So if there’s grief and loss bubbling underneath the joy of a new arrival for example, we won’t refer you elsewhere to address differing concerns.

Our clinic environment is thoughtfully and deliberately created for healing

Aside from our expertise and education, we’re honest, thoughtful and very grounded in our approach. We’re highly skilled, working intuitively to merge evidence-based therapies with holistic principles.

We’re particularly good at creating exactly the right balance of intimacy, trust and comfort that sets you up for progress—in a way that’s uniquely yours.
