Growing Parents

Growing Parents commits to ongoing reconciliation with Aboriginal families. We do this by acknowledging that we live and work on the traditional lands of the Whadjak People of the Nyoongar Nation. We pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We humbly learn from Aboriginal knowledge particularly as it relates to child rearing practices.

Embracing Diversity

We’re an organisation that welcomes and is inclusive of LGBTQI+ people and their families, believing that diversity is the most truthful expression of human experience.

In terms of language, we utilise the titles parents, mum, dad, birthing person, birth support partner purposefully and at times, interchangeably. We hope by doing so, we acknowledge a breadth of experiences for pregnancy, peri and post-natal times. Please let us know your preferred pronouns and titles.
